ALGEMENE REëLS VIR GHONGUITDAGING

 

1. Reëls

 

1.1          Indien daar gedurende ‘n kompitiese ‘n geskil sou ontstaan oor die interpretasie van die reëls van die kompetisie of enige saak waarvoor die reëls nie voorsiening maak nie, sal ‘n paneel van drie ervare lede optree as arbieters.

1.2          Elke deelnemer en persoon wat die perseel betree sal ‘n vrywaring teken voor die begin van die kompetisie.  Elke deelnemer en toeskouer sal SJB en die borg van die dag vrywaar van enige insident wat mag plaasvind gedurende die kompetiese.

1.3          Voordat die kompetisie in aanvang neem sal die organiseerders ‘n inligtingssessie hou aangaande die prosedures vir die dag . Bywoning daarvan is verpligtend vir deelnemers.

1.1          A panel of 3 experienced members will act as arbitrators (Dispute Committee) for the competition in case of any dispute regarding interpretation of these rules, or any other matter not covered by the rules.

1.2          Every competitor shall sign an indemnity before the commencement of the competition. Every Competitor will indemnify SJB and the sponser from any incident related to the event.

1.3          A briefing will be held of the day’s proceedings by the match organizers before the commencement of the match.

1.4          Die formaat van die kompetisie is as volg:

  • 6 Ghongbane
  • 5 Rondtes per baan

  • Afstandmeters, verkykers en windmeters sal toegelaat word, BEHALWE op baan 2 en 3
  • Alle hulpmiddels sal verskaf word deur die organiseerders
  • Deelnemers mag die kompetiese voltooi in enige volgorde
  • Deelnemers moet teenwoordig wees om ‘n gelukkige trekking-prys te ontvang
  • 200 bonuspunte vir dames en juniors, 100 bonus punte vir veterane

1.4          The shoot will have the following format:

  • 6 Ghong ranges
  • 5 rounds per range

  • Rangefinders, binoculars and wind readers will be allowed WITH THE EXCEPTION of range 2 and 3.
  • Rests will be provided
  • Competitor must be present to collect his/her lucky draw prize
  • Competitors may complete the course in any order
  • 200 bonus points for ladies and juniors, 100 bonus points for veterans

1.5  Deelnemers mag nie onder die invloed van alkoholiese drank of dwelms wees nie en geen alkoholiese drank of dwelms mag gedurende die kompetisie ingeneem word nie.  Indien ‘n persoon hom sou skuldig maak aan laasgenoemde sal hy onmiddellik geskors word en hy/sy sal die inskrywingsfooi daardeur verbeur.

1.5  No competitor shall be allowed to compete if under the influence of alcohol or drugs or found   consuming alcohol or drugs during a match. Match fees for that competition will be forfeited.

1.6          ‘n 100 meter inskietbaan sal beskikbaar wees vanaf 07:00 tot 08:30 en sal beman word deur ‘n baanoffisier.

1.6          A 100m sight in range, manned by a range officer, will be available from 07:00 – 08:30.

1.7          Die kompetisie begin stiptelik om 09:00.

1.7          Competition starts at 09:00.

2. Teikens en tellings

2.1          Indien ‘n deelnemer uit volgorder skiet sal hy ‘n nul telling ontvang vir daardie spesifieke

                ghong.

                                  

2.4           Indien dit gevind word dat ‘n deelnemer hom/haar doelbewus skuldig maak aan

wangedrag, sal so ‘n persoon onmiddellik geskors word.

               

2.6        .  Indien ‘n deelnemer voor die bevel gegee is om te vuur na ‘n

                                 staalplaat vuur of nadat die bevel gegee is om vuur te staak sal sulke skote as ‘n

                                 miskoot getel word.

2.8          Geen veranderings sal op die telkaart toegelaat word nadat dit geteken is nie.

2.9          Die baanoffisier se beslissing is finaal behalwe in die geval van 2.10.

2.10        Indien ‘n deelnemer wil appelleer teen die baanoffisier se beslissing moet hy dit

                                 skriftelik doen, ‘n deposito R100.00 moet die aansoek vergesel.  Indien die appel

                                 sou slaag sal die deposito terug betaal word aan die deelnemer.

2.12        Staalplate moet met die blote oog sigbaar wees, behoorlik gemerk en genommer wees.

2.13        In die geval van gelykop uitslag sal die deelnemers vanaf baan 1 tot baan 6 uitgetel

                                word, tensy daar vooraf oor ‘n ander metode besluit was.

2. TARGETS AND SCORING

2.1          If a competitor fires out of sequence that shot will count zero..


2.4.         If found to practice misconduct in any way in the competition, such competitor will be      

                disqualified.

2.6.          If any competitor fires before the command to commence shooting or after the command to stop shooting to a steel plate, a miss will be scored to that plate.

2.8.      After signature of the scorecard, no adjustments to the score will be allowed.

2.9       The range officer’s judgement is final, except for 2.10.

2.10.    In the event that a competitor wishes to appeal the judgment of the range officer, the appeal in    

writing must be accompanied by a deposit of R100, which amount is refundable if the appeal is upheld.

2.12. Steel plates will be visible to the naked eye, clearly marked and numbered for easy identification. Since some of our members are colour-blind, the marking of the steel plates must be a shade of white/beige and at least A3 sized, like a black number on a white A3 paper, attached to the frame supporting the steel plate or standing next to it.

2.13. In case of a tie of any scores, the competitors will be counted out, starting from event 1 to 5, except if any other sequence was determined before the start of the competition.


3.  Veiligheid

3.1           Geweerslotte moet ten alle tye oop wees, dit is ook van toepassing as die wapen in ‘n sak of pasgemaakte houer is. Indien die oop slot nie pas nie, verwyder die slot.

Lewendige ammunisie mag alleenlik in die wapen of magasyn geplaas word op  bevel van die baanoffisier.

3.2          Enige deelnemer of toeskouer wat volgens die baanoffisier of organiseerders  

                onbetaamlike of onveilige gedrag toon wat gevaar inhou vir ander deelnemers sal

                onmiddellik gediskwalifiseer word of versoek word om die perseel onmiddellik te

                verlaat.

3.3          Deelnemers mag onder geen omstandighede hulle wapens rig of laai alvorens die    

                baanoffisier nie die opdrag gegee het nie.

3.4          Nadat ‘n oefening begin het mag die slotaksie nie toegemaak word voordat die   

                deelnemer in die skietposisie is nie.  Die slotaksie mag vorentoe gestoot word om te

                verhoed dat rondtes uitval, maar die slot mag nie afgedruk word voordat die skut in

                posisie is en gereed is om te vuur nie.

3.5          Gehoorbeskerming is verpligtend en oogbeskerm word sterk aanbeveel tydens

                kompetisies.

3. SAFETY

3.1. Rifle bolts will always be in the OPEN position, including when bagged. If the rifle does not fit into the container with an open bolt, the bolt must be removed. Live ammunition may only be placed in the rifle or magazine (when the magazine is fitted to the rifle) on the command of the range officer.

3.2. Any competitor or spectator exhibiting behaviour, which in the discretion of the range officer or competition organizers is considered unsafe, may be disqualified or requested to leave the shooting range immediately.

3.3. Competitors are not allowed to aim or load any rifles before the range officer has given the order to do so.

3.4. After starting an event, the bolt of the rifle may not be closed before or while going into the shooting position. The bolt may be pushed forward to prevent the rounds from falling out, but must not be pushed down and closed before the body is settled into the shooting position.

3.5. Hearing protection is mandatory and eye protection is recommended at all shooting competitions.

4.  Toerusting

4.1          Indien daar ‘n breekkasie of storing  voorkom gedurende ‘n oefening sal die

                deelnemer nie toegelaat word om die oefening by ‘n latere geleentheid te herhaal

                nie.  Indien die deelnemer se wapen so beskadig is dat dit nie herstel kan word nie

 (organiseerders sal ‘n beslissing maak), mag hy/sy die res van die kompetisie met ‘n ander goedgekeurde wapen voltooi.

4.2           Met die uitsondering van paragraaf 4.1 moet die kompetisie met een wapen voltooi

                 word.

4.3          Indien ‘n persoon nie die geregristreerde eienaar van die wapen is waarmee hy/sy deelneem, moet die geregristreede eienaar hom/haar ten alle tye vergesel.

4.4          Handskoene mag gedra word.

4.5          Elmboog-beskerming en skiet of jagbaadjies mag gedra word.

4.6          Geweerbande moet aan die geweer geheg word aan die voorkant van die wapen en aan die agterkant, agter die aksie.  Geweerbande mag verstelbaar wees.

      

4.7          Die snellermeganisme van ‘n wapen moet absoluut veilig wees en is onderworpe aan

‘n veiligheidsinspeksie deur die baanoffisier indien nodig.  Indien bevind word dat die   wapen onveilig is sal die deelnemer vesoek word om te onttrek aan die kompetiesie. Paragraaf 4.1 sal dan inwerking tree.

4.8          Geen semi-outomatiese of pompaksie-haelgewere word toegelaat.

4.9          Daar is geen beperking op ‘n teleskoop se vergrotings nie.

4. EQUIPMENT

4.1.         If a breakage or malfunction occurs during any event, the competitor will not be allowed to re-shoot that event at a later stage and if a competitor’s rifle becomes unserviceable (this must be verified by the organizers) he/she
may shoot the remainder of the events with a different approved rifle.

4.2.         With the exception of rule 4.1.; the competition must be completed with one rifle.

4.3.         Any person, who is not the registered owner of the firearm he/she is using, will be required to be accompanied by the registered owner.


4.4.         Gloves are permitted.

4.5.         Elbow protectors and shooting or hunting jackets will be allowed.

4.6.         Rifle slings must be attached to the rifle in front and behind the action. Slings may be adjustable.

4.8.         The triggering mechanism of any rifle should be absolutely safe and will be subjected to a safety check          by the range officer, if necessary. In the event of it being unsafe, the competitor will not be allowed to continue with that rifle. Rule 4.1. will then apply.

4.9. No Semi-Automatic or Pump-Action rifles are allowed.

4.10. There is no limitation to the magnification of telescopes.

5.  By skietpunte

5.1          Alle skietpunte sal duidelik aangedui word.

5.2          Die baanoffisier aan diens by die skietpunt moet deelnemers volledig inlig voordat die oefening begin.  Geen deelnemer sal toegelaat word om die oefening te herhaal omdat hy/sy nie die prosedures verstaan het nie.   

5.3          Die baanoffisier sal die name van deelnemers uitroep wat gereed moet maak om in die  volgende aflos deel te neem.

5.4          Standaard bevele op skietbaan:

a)       Is almal gereed (waarop deelnemers ‘n aanduiding moet gee of hulle gereed is)

b)       Staan by

c)       Na 3 tot 5 sekondes sal die die fluitjie geblaas word om die begin aan te kondig

d)       Aanduiding hoeveel tyd nog oor is bv. 60, 30,15 sekondes oor, vanaf 5 sek. word die tyd afgetel 5,4,3,2,1 sekondes

e)       Nadat  tydverstreke is sal fluitjie blaas

f)        Deelnemers moet wapens veilig verklaar

5.5          Geen opmerkings, aanmerkings of geraas sal toegelaat word in die omgewing van ‘n    

                 skietpunt gedurende ‘n kompetisie nie.

5. AT FIRING POINTS

5.1.         Firing points for each event will be clearly demarcated.

5.2.         The range officer at every shooting point will brief each competitor thoroughly before commencing with the event. No competitor will be allowed to repeat an event due to the fact that he/she did not clearly understand what was required.

5.3.         The range officer will call out the names of the competitors who are next in line to shoot and they will prepare themselves to be ready by the time the competitor preceding them has completed the event.

5.4.         The standard range officer command will be:

a) Are you ready (at which point the competitor must indicate his/her readiness to start)
b)
 Stand by
c) 3 to 5 seconds later the range officer will give the
 START signal.
d) 120 Seconds will be  allowed for long range  target ranges
(excluding short, rapid fire target ranges).
e) During any event the time remaining will be read out to the competitor where applicable as: 90 seconds remaining, 60 seconds remaining, 30 seconds remaining and 15 seconds remaining.

5.6.         No disturbing comments, remarks or noise are allowed at any shooting point while a competitor is   shooting.

               

6.   Klasifikasies

6.1          Deelnemers kan in die volgende kategorië deelneem nl:

  • Junior
  • Senior
  • Dame
  • Veteraan

6. CLASSIFICATION

6.1. Competitors can compete in the following classes:

  • Juniors
  • Ladies
  • Veterans
  • Seniors
